Maggie Rogers 'That’s Where I Am'
In the bouncy song Rogers co-wrote with Kid Harpoon, she tells the story of a love interest that makes her 'Wish we could do this forever' though 'Mistakes were made' - Dude, I can relate to that!

Maggie makes a commitment to the one she loves in new hit 'That’s Where I Am.'

It’s the first single from her sophomore album, Surrender, which arrives July 29 via Capitol.

In the bouncy song Rogers cowrote and produced with Kid Harpoon, she tells the story of a love interest that makes her 'Wish we could do this forever....'.

Handclapped rhythms accent the tale of friendship turning into something more.

''It all works out in the end/Wherever you go/That’s where I am' she sings.

'For a long time I fought it. Resisted. Held up my fists, wanted it on my terms, in my way,' Rogers says in the clip.

'This is the story of what happened when I finally gave in. When I felt it all. When I finally let go… I found peace in distortion.'

'A chaos I could control.'

THE 90s/early 2000s vibes are strong and I AM HERE FOR IT! The running scenes, classic nyc, the OUTFITS, (also David Byrne?!) - all felt so nostalgic!

Rory Brimacombe

Can’t believe just how long I’ve been waiting for Maggie’s next album. This is going to be electric.

The confidence here is so impressive. A true star, this one. So glad I've gotten to follow the development of this artist as their style changed and morphed and their talent only grew (well, it didn't have much of a way to go from one of the most perfect debuts ever but look at Maggie now, still going up!). Just overall, really proud and happy to see you doing the best!

Beth Cronin

Maggie was seriously born to be a witchy feminist rockstar and she NEVER disappoints

Brendan Canty

What a music video. Natural, unpretentious and refreshingly classic. So good.

Katie Odland

THE FITS!!!!! THE ACTING!!! THE STORY!!!!! THE LIGHTS THE CAMERA WORK THE COLORS!!!!! THE VOCALLLLLLLSSSSSSS! It’s. All. There.

LYFE At Home

Such a well composed song. A multi-decade kind of feel. You can really sense her growth musically.

As an older guy, that grew up in the halcyon days of music, 60s-90s, It's really hard to find music that stops me in my tracks.  I heard this song by Maggie Rogers while driving, listening to WXRT when I heard this lovely voice.  Maggie Rogers is a true gem, one of those lucky finds that gives you faith that there are still great artists out there.  You just gotta listen and be lucky like I was.  Just a side note, she looks like 60's it girl and Warhol muse, Edie Sedgwick.

There’s no one out there who’s making music like her. She’s so incredible

This video is so beautiful with the song. It's so new with the cityscapes after mostly nature based videos from her..nice to see her just having fun in the big city now that she been up north for law school . I love the joy in her running down the bridge part and just how passion packed this song is ! Also great David Byrne cameo and love the nuns part

HorrorFanatic

I'm so proud of Maggie and I love this song so much!! and she's doing all of this while getting her degree at Harvard, ugh I love her so much!!!1

She’s so underrated. This is giving me soundtrack to an iconic 90s film vibe.

Alessandro Boicel-Maldonado

I'm soo proud of her for this beautiful eclectic rock song that screams 2000's New York, and I love that she filmed it here. As a long long time fan, I would say it feels like she's returning to this particular rock pop sound but it feels more new and that it fits PERFECTLY. We're in a new era, and I'm ready for the ride.... <3 <3

You know a song is meant for eternity when you only need to hear it once to fall in love with it.  Then add this fun, full of life video to it and your soul is happily entranced.

MaskAndMirror

I was a teenager in the mid-late 90s and this song really brings me back to those times. A bop! Also, I want all her outfits.

Kirsten Flores

She stated that she watched 10 Things I Hate About You and wanted her music to sound like a song at the end of a rom-com. Something happy and electrifying! ????

Shirley Dietsch

I love the changing tempos and styles. I feel like I’m listening to five songs. Beautiful lyrics as always. Love the new doo too! ????

w.h.o.

I was not expecting these visuals for the music video but I love it, and the song too!!

Kili Goodrich

back to the church of maggie we go

darius rogers

Started off unsure on this one, but I knew to give it a few days lol. Now it's legit the first thing I play when I get in my car. Heard it in a past life was amazing and I can't wait for this  album!

Dave Dean

There is just something just so unique about this woman. I cannot get enough of her music.
