Born and raised in Boston, Lincolnshire Phil May has been Stand Up Paddling for 6 years now.
After a nasty knee injury meant he could no longer Kayak, he picked up a SUP paddle. After 5 years of South coast living with the thriving SUP scene and learning from some of the sports UK legends such as John Hibbard and Steve West, Phil has paddled and experienced most types of water conditions.
He moved back to the East Midlands in 2017 and brought SUP back with him.
Yellowbelly SUP School:
With Stand Up Paddleboarding being one of the worlds fastest growing sports its only natural that Lincolnshire's scenic rivers and drains should be used for the progression of the sport.
"Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day."
