Made in Byron | Art For Your Wall
With the creative community in lockdown at home, Byron Bay Brewery presents a series of original, inspirational online classes from well known Byron Bay creators to keep Australians creating.

In this weeks episode : Mia Taninaka - How to make a finished piece of art to hang on your wall.

With the creative community in isolation at home, Byron Bay Brewery presents a series of original, inspirational online classes from well known Byron Bay creators to keep Australians creating during isolation.

Offering an insight into the minds of the creators, the ‘Made in Byron’ classes teach a variety of creative skills, each taught in their own unique way – as creative as the creators themselves.

Directed by Stefan Hunt, the classes feature Eden Saul of Dead Kooks fixing a ding on a surfboard; Kai Neville teaching film-making; Mia Taninaka teaching painting; Ming Nomchong on photography; Ozzie Wright and his partner and this week Stefan Hunt himself runs a class on designing a tattoo.

“This project has been so fun and refreshing to work on.

From the lesson topics to the low-fi approach, this series feels so original and so perfectly timed for creatives during Covid-19 times. I apologise to all the parents out there whose kids come home with bad tattoos!” said Stefan Hunt.

“It’s been a pleasure to work with such an awesome group of people to get this made. Everyone’s brought a different flavour to the process and hopefully we’ll all be inspired to learn new creative skills off the back of it.” said Luke Martin.
