This is what it's like to take a Countach through the St. Bernard Pass - ask Harry in part #2 of his Countach euro-road trip !
Harry Metcalfe seems to be the most approachable guy ever. Having founded Evo magazine back in 1998, Harry currently spends his time enjoying his collection of cars.
While most of the journey is covered by 'boring' stretches of motorway, Harry is persistent that the Italian Autostrada is amongst the "great bits of road in Europe".
Not that you could complain, with all of those bridges and tunnels, and that epic scenery to the south.
Despite the presence of police and traffic cameras, we doubt anyone would be able to resist letting the six Webber carburetors feed the massive 5.2-litre quad-cam V12.
Ok, this inspires me to service my Pantera and DRIVE it while I still can. I'll be 66 soon. What I heck am I watching you tube for? Thanks Harry! I'm out of here (:
HATS OFF to the true petrol head in this vid....That's your wife Harry! I mean not many would participate in such a trip with this car...Noisy, with not the best of the comfort sunspention ! You are one lucky chap !
Tunnel = downshift
In a weird sort of way a red Countach with some dirt and grime on it and brake dust on the wheels looks even better than a spotless shiny one. It looks meaner and angrier
Lol that indicator repair...straight out of the handbook!
