Nothing remotely like this on British TV today. Unless, of course by TV you call Mary Beard standing in front of the Colosseum, holding a bicycle with a rap/R'n'B soundtrack blasting out in the background: "Well mate, the Romans were wicked, I mean diversity is what makes them truly great innit? Just riffing on some Virgil now as I speak, laters people."
