Video News Story:
Seven Magic Mountains Art Installation:
The Seven Magic Mountains by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone are located about 10 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip and definitely worth a visit.
Seven stacked colorful boulders stand tall in the middle of the desert and splash a bit of color against the dry desert and mountain range backdrop. It is unclear if the installation will be on view beyond 2018 so if you find yourself in Las Vegas in the near future, I highly recommend a visit.
The Neon Museum Las Vegas:
If only these neon signs could tell stories! This graveyard filled with iconic casino and business signs spanning decades of Vegas history including the old Sahara Hotel sign, and the Treasure Island skull head, are on display for viewers to reminisce.
The outside Boneyard tour will take about 15-20 minutes with a guide (who tends to go through the tour pretty quickly and won't really let you walk at your own pace..grr) but you just have to get creative in a short amount of time and snap all your photos!
The Vegas Sign:
Yes, it's a tourist thing to do. Yes, there will be a line. But it's worth seeing the famous sign up close at least once!
Jaleo by José Andrés:
World renowned Chef José Andrés brings his traditional Spanish cuisine to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Menu highlights include:
-Pan de cristal con tomato - which literally translates to bread with tomatoes but I promise, it's more delicious than the simplicity the dish implies
-Berenjenas con miel - Fried eggplant drizzled with local honey
-Pimientos del piquillo rellenos - Peppers stuffed with a creamy goat cheese -Rossejat Negra - Of course you can't come to a Spanish restaurant without ordering the paella!
