Football Mid North Coast area Registrations Open
Registrations for the 2019 Football season are underway in the Football Mid North Coast area.

FMNC clubs will be taking online registrations via a new system this season as well as holding various sign on days, information sessions and come and try events during the month of February.

Early in March clubs will then nominate their teams to FMNC to begin another massive draw process. Last season saw 571 teams play well over 5000 matches across the zone during the year with close to 7000 registered participants.

The NSW Government will once again be helping kids get active with the Active Kids program. Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher valued up to $100 per calendar year for each student enrolled in school which can be used for their Football registration.

FMNC Club and Referee Development Officer Justin McIntyre offered some tips for those looking to register.

"Everyone will be able to find all the registration information on their clubs website and social media pages plus we have a dedicated page on the FMNC website with Important Links including how to register, club contacts, Active Kids and much more" said McIntyre.

"For those wishing to use an Active Kids Voucher, make sure you head to the Service NSW website and apply for your voucher before registering with your club. It is important to have the Voucher ID before you make your Football registration".

"And a reminder to be patient, we have a new registration system this season which moving forward will be great, however a number of clubs may not be fully up and running just yet re taking registrations" he added.

McIntyre also said the zone was seeking more Referees for the upcoming season. "We need more match officials in our ranks, be it beginners or experienced Referees. We have a number of courses coming up and you can find all the information you need on the Referee Headquarters on the FMNC website" he said.

For all the information you need about the 2019 Football season, follow Football Mid North Coast on Facebook or head to the FMNC website – www.footballmidnorthcoast.com.
