Council’s Community Grants Program provides funding support to community groups and not-forprofit organisations.

These funds contribute to the establishment, development and promotion of community based projects, including sponsorship for cultural community events.

The grants for this round have been split into five categories: General Community, Non-Council Owned Hall, Environmental, Band and Christmas/New Year event grants. In the first round of funding within the 2018/19 program, 24 local not-for-profit organisations and community groups from across the Port Macquarie-Hastings region will receive funding totalling $131,104.

The funds provided through the Grants Program are instrumental in contributing to our community at a grass roots level, and brings the total contribution over the last four years to more than $750,000 with more than 170 groups having now benefited from the program.
