She Past Away is a Turkish post-punk band, formed in 2006.

The band was formed in Bursa by Volkan Caner (the vocalist and guitarist) and İdris Akbulut (Bass guitar).

The band is known for their dark wave musical style with post-punk roots backed by the gothic image of the band members.

As you will know, 'Wednesday' is a Netflix American coming-of-age supernatural comedy horror television series, directed by Tim Burton & starring Jenna Ortega as 'Wednesday Addams' of the Addams Family. 

In one episode of the Netflix show 'Wednesady' dances her famous dance, and in this mixup she's dancing to "She Past Away's 'Rituel'" creating, perhapes, the ultimate Dark Wave, Goth, Post-Punk dance anthem ever!

Definitely stunning! She dances very strangely, but doesn't make it ridiculous and that's just how Goths dance, just think of Robert Smith's hairstyle. No offense intended, I love Robert Smith! In any case, she is not only breath-takenly strange, but also breath-takenly pretty! And "She Past away" is a completely underrated gothic post-punk gem from Turkey.

She Past Away might have made some of the best goth dance songs over the last decade or so. It's always cool to see punk/ post-punk and goth bands from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. I'd love to see She Past Away do a tour with Molchat Doma one day...
