The band formed in Canberra, Australia & features band Members: Ben Woolner - Vocals/Producer, Michael Bell - Drums/Producer, Harry Sayers - Guitars, Synths.

SAFIA is the newest thing in live electronica. Blending cosmic synths, samples and charismatic vocals their unique production and dynamic live performances are what makes SAFIA so hot!

The band says their name comes from a song they wrote called "Sapphire", but it does not mean anything. The band have since found out that safia means serenity in Arabic.

In August 2023, the band announced the release of their album "A Lover's Guide to a Lucid Dream" and released this track, "Float", their fourth single.

Australian music just keeps getting better !!
