Peggy Gou is a South Korean DJ and record producer based in Germany.

Gou began classical piano lessons at age 8. At age 14, her parents sent her to London to study English.

She moved back to Korea when she was 18 years old, but six months later she returned to London to study fashion at the London College of Fashion.

After graduating, she worked as the London correspondent editor for Harper's Bazaar Korea, and then moved to Berlin, Germany.

"(It Goes Like) Nanana" was released as the lead single from her debut album which was released on 15 June 2023.

In a press release, Gou stated: "There's a feeling we all know but is hard to describe, that feeling of love, warmth and excitement when you’re surrounded by friends and loved ones and the energy speaks for itself. It's difficult to put into words but to me it goes 'nanana!'

Henry Ivry of Resident Advisor felt that "the lyrics are a bit silly, they're catchy" and "there is nothing, in short, subtle about the track, but who cares—this is dance pop down to a science"

Had been waiting for this masterpiece since I randomly heard a very short piece of it from a video of Peggy performing somewhere, I found those just few secs of sound very interesting and catchy from the beginning. I am happy and satisfied that I can listen to the whole thing now, I am definitely in a deep love with this track !
